Craters of the Moon
The spring brings lots of flowers to the Crater’s bleak landscape for one to photograph on the black lava background. The lava flows, cinder cones, and sagebrush provide many interesting images. One can snowshoe into the monument in the winter for a different view of this unique landscape. Craters of the Moon National Monument, Arco, ID
